This is from the Netflix series Squid Games. I love Soundtrack Music, it feels really powerful when something is deliberately designed to invoke a specific reaction. The moment you hear it - you return to that feeling.

2. Charli XCX | Guess (feat. Billie Eilish)

I love everything on this album, so it's hard to pick a favourite. The whole vibe feels like a combination of the music from my clubbing days with a modern production sheen.
3. Mitsuto Suzuki | 真夜中のまちぶせ (Final Fantasy VII Remake Original Soundtrack)
Midnight Rendezvous... This is from the video game Final Fantasy VII Remake. The original game was so special and influential to me and the remake is incredible. This Instrumental piece evokes such nostalgia.

One of the first songs I remember creating goosebumps when I heard it. Myself and Som (from My Vitriol) bonded over a mutual appreciation for how the instrumentation achieved that before either of us were musicians.
5. Bat For Lashes | Mountains
Love how this manages to capture the feel of a 1980s childhood listening to Kate Bush whilst sounding equally contemporary and original. I'm a sucker for anything that could be the soundtrack of a film from that era. Which leads me on to...
6. HAIM | Forever

Again, much like the Bat For Lashes song before, this perfectly encapsulates the sensation of being back in your own childhood. There's a great remix by the legendary Giorgio Moroder too.

I'm big into Instrumental Music and when I heard this on the radio it blew me away. It's great how it almost feels like a Club track building up, whilst simultaneously being a Live performance. Plus, it has that sensation of evolving throughout.
8. Ash | Candy

The use of the sample in this is incredible. It felt really unusual for a more traditional band to use a sample when this was released and the combination of genres is wonderful.
9. Kanye West | All Of The Lights (with Rihanna, Kid Cudi, Fergie, Alicia Keys, Elton John, Drake, The-Dream, John Legend, Ryan Leslie, Tony Williams, Charlie Wilson, La Roux)

Everything is perfect in this track, from the epic horn samples to the furious drums when they kick in, to the combination of the two contrasting vocal performances.
10. New Order | Bizarre Love Triangle

Another song that has so many different things going on at once, yet they all combine to make something brilliant.
